We are committed to transparency about what data we collect and how we use it. We collect minimal data and do not sell your information to anyone.

2. Information We Collect

Wallet Addresses

When you connect your Solana wallet to LaunchFair, we collect your public wallet address. This is necessary to facilitate transactions, display your portfolio, track your trading activity on the platform, and attribute referral rewards. Wallet addresses are public blockchain data by nature.

Analytics Data

We collect basic analytics data to understand how the platform is used and to improve user experience. This includes:

• Pages visited and features used
• Screen size and viewport dimensions
• Browser type and version
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Referring website or source
• General geographic region (country-level, derived from IP)
• Session duration and interaction patterns

What We Do NOT Collect

• Email addresses
• Names or personal identifiers
• Private keys or seed phrases (we never have access to these)
• Government-issued identification (we do not perform KYC)
• Phone numbers

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the LaunchFair platform
• Display your token balances, trading history, and portfolio
• Process and display leaderboard rankings
• Track and attribute referral rewards
• Improve the platform based on usage patterns

4. Cookies and Local Storage

LaunchFair uses cookies and browser local storage for the following purposes:

• Analytics cookies: To collect anonymous usage data about how the platform is used
• Local storage: To store UI preferences such as theme settings, dismissed notifications, and tour completion status

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time, though this may affect platform functionality.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers who help us operate the platform

• To protect the rights, property, or safety of LaunchFair Labs, our users, or the public

6. Data Retention

We retain wallet addresses and associated platform activity data (trading history, token creation records, leaderboard data) for as long as the platform is operational, as this data is integral to platform functionality.

Analytics data is retained in aggregate form and is periodically purged of any identifiable information.

On-chain data (blockchain transactions, token metadata on Arweave) is permanent and cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of these systems. This is outside our control.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about your wallet address.
• Right to deletion: You can request deletion of your off-chain data from our database. Note that on-chain data and data stored on Arweave cannot be deleted.
• Right to correction: You can request correction of any inaccurate data we hold.
• Right to object: You can object to certain data processing activities.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We never have access to your private keys or seed phrases. Your wallet security is your responsibility.

9. Children

LaunchFair is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the platform, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
